Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan ist ein deutsch-iranischer Pokerspieler und der WSOP Main Event Champion 2019. Damit war er nach Pius Heinz der zweite deutsche Sieger im prestigeträchtigsten Turnier der Poker-Welt. Mit seinem Sieg im Heads-up gegen Dario Sammartino und einer Siegprämie von 10 Millionen US-Dollar konnte sich Hossein in die Geschichtsbücher eintragen. Er ist einer von fünf Deutschen, die es bis jetzt an den WSOP-Main-Event-Finaltisch geschafft haben, und mit Pius Heinz (2011) sowie Koray Aldemir (2021) einer von drei Titelträgern aus Deutschland. Bereits 2015 gewann er das EPT Main Event in Prag ebenso wie einen WSOP Circuit Ring im Main Event des 2017 WSOP International Circuit in Tschechien.
Hossein Ensan is a German-Iranian poker player and the WSOP Main Event Champion 2019. This made him the second German winner of poker's most prestigious tournament, after Pius Heinz. With his heads-up victory over Dario Sammartino and a first prize of 10 million US dollars, Hossein etched his name into the history books. He is one of five Germans to have reached a WSOP Main Event final table so far, and – together with Pius Heinz (2011) and Koray Aldemir (2021) – one of three German titleholders. He had already won the EPT Main Event in Prague in 2015, as well as a WSOP Circuit ring in the Main Event of the 2017 WSOP International Circuit in the Czech Republic.
